Did you know?
5600 people in just the US are newly diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) each year. ALS is a rapidly progressive, invariably fatal neurodegenerative disease. It attacks nerve cells and pathways in the brain and spinal cord. When these cells die, voluntary muscle control and movement dies with them. Patients in the later stages of the disease are completely paralyzed, yet in most cases, their minds remain sharp and alert. The average life expectancy after an ALS diagnosis is 2-5 years.

Join us to generate public awareness for ALS, raise funding to empower those with ALS to live a rewarding life, and ultimately find a cure. No white flags!
